Voltage and Current Reference Based MPPT Under Rapidly Changing Irradiance and Load Resistance

This paper formulates a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) technique that accurately tracks the of photovoltaic (PV), which undergoes simultaneous or independent sudden changes in load resistance and irradiance. The proposed algorithm is fundamentally divided into three parts; current voltage perturbation (IPA/VPA), step-size reduction (PSSRA) deviation avoidance loop. use dual parameters using IPA VPA ensures high speed. PSSRA iteratively reduces helps reducing oscillations around MPP. Finally, loop developed to detect change irradiance by examining sign slope two curves, namely P-V P-I. compares per unit PV, determine both resistance. compared with recently MPPT algorithms. results show can track MPP speed low steady-state does not deviate from path regardless fast
